SOME TIPS ON LIVING A KICK ASS LIFE
1. LOVE YOURSELF
If you don’t love yourself then who will? You must love yourself. If you don’t love yourself then nobody else will. If you don’t love yourself then you’ll probably walk around most of the day with an uncomfortable feeling. Your confidence will be lower along with your self-esteem. On the other hand, if you truly love yourself then you will have greater confidence and self-esteem. You will be more relaxed and have that inner feeling of freedom to do more of you want in life.
Try this exercise: every night before going to bed give yourself a big hug and tell yourself that you love yourself. And every morning when you wake up give yourself a big hug and tell yourself you love yourself. I’m serious try this out. It may sound a little corny but if you do this every day you will notice that your happiness and self-approval will sky rocket.
2. YOUR LIMITATIONS ARE IN YOUR HEAD ONLY
Our limitations are mostly in our minds. We may think that we are not good enough because people may disapprove of us because we are too tall, too short, too old, too young, too fat, too skinny, too week, etc… The list goes on and on and on and on. You become self-conscious and worried what people think. Let me tell a little secret that you may not know about. Ready? Here it is: People don’t give a shit about you! Stop worrying about what others think. People are too busy thinking about themselves. Get out of your head and focus outwards. Live in the now. Enjoy every moment and don’t forget to smile because you’re an infinite being with infinite capabilities. There are no limits.
3. HAVE SOME FUN
Life is not that serious. Lighten up and enjoy life. You may be saying “but we have bills to pay and have to eat” yea yea yea I know I know…we all have problems and so what? It’s better to laugh and enjoy life then it is to dwell on negativity and useless bullshit like the media or watching stupid TV. Laughter is an amazing tool. If you can turn a serious situation into something funny to laugh about then that will lighten to mood anywhere. A lighter mood will allow you to work better and be more creative because your mind is not filled with negative emotions. When you are having fun and enjoying the moment then the solution to a situation is easier to come up with. When you’re serious and negative you repel people. Being negative is not natural. Have you ever seen a baby who is serious and negative? Because I haven’t. And if you have then you must come from a different planet called negativity from a distant galaxy called “seriousness”. Next time you’re out and about take a look at most people. They will have a serious look on their face that says they need some fun. Don’t be like the sheeple (people who are asleep and stuck in the matrix). Take the red pill and wake up. Enjoy life right now. I mean right now!
When you find the humor in any situation your life will become more positive. You will attract more situations and people in your favor. Every moment will be a bliss!
4. LET GO OF ANGER
This is a hard one for a lot people. Most people have a lot of anger towards a lot of people. They may be angry at their parents, their teachers, and friends, family and so on. You must learn to forgive and move on. The past is gone and will never return. Holding a grudge and being angry is pointless. It will cause situations to get out of hand. Anger will cause you more harm than it does to the person you are angry at. You’re only hurting yourself. The other person may not even know you’re angry at him or her and doesn’t care. You must let go of anger and forgive. Try this exercise: Write on a sheet of paper “I forgive…” and continue writing until you are finished forgiving anyone who has hurt you in the past. When you’re done writing crumple up the paper and throw it away. Try this and see how much lighter and happier you will feel.
5. YOUR ARE NOT ENTITLED TO ANYTHING
The world doesn’t owe you anything. When we are young our mom and dad may have given us a lot of things. When we grow older we may feel entitled. You may feel the world owes you something. Guess what? The world owes you nothing! If you want something then you have to take action and go get it! This sense of entitlement can cause a lot anger and frustrations in your life because the world may not give you what you expect. And expectations are placed on you by your ego. When you wake up and realize that it’s up to you to shape your life and take action to work towards what you want then life will become more exciting. You are not a kid anymore to wait for your parents or the world to give you something. You are in the drivers seat, you are in control of your life and you can go anywhere you want.
6. WHEN YOU TAKE A DIFFERENT PATH, PEOPLE WIll REACT DIFFERENTLY
Have you heard the saying that goes “in a bucket full of crabs when one tries to climb out the rest of the crabs will pull that one crab back down.” I’m not comparing people to crabs but you get the idea, right? When you start to change for the better or do something that’s different than what society programs people to do then people may react in different ways. Some may be happy and others may react in negative or discouraging ways.
Keep in mind that the way they react is not what that person is saying about you, but rather it shows about their life. How they feel about them self’s shows up by the way they speak and judge you. And remember that it doesn’t matter what others think. It’s probably just your imagination and a barrier you build in your mind. When you finally get past that block that you create in your head then people around you and the world will get out of your way.
7. FOCUS ON WHAT YOU WANT
If you focus on your problems and think of yourself as a victim then you are holding yourself back in life in everything that you do. But if you focus on the positive in a situation or what you can learn from a situation then the world will open up. Everyone has a bad day where they may focus on negativity but the trick is to keep your mind busy with something else so that you don’t end up dwelling on the negative all day. Take control of your mind. Don’t let the mind be the master. Let the mind be a servant. When you become the master and let the mind be a servant then your mind will become a beautiful thing. One way to practice this is to be in the present moment. Focus on the now. When you catch yourself drifting to the past or the future, tell yourself to stop and start focusing on your breathing. Bring your mind to the attention of the present moment. Next time you’re out walking take at look at people and you’ll see that they are lost in their minds with useless thinking. This will drain your creativity and energy. But if you focus on the now your creative juices will explode.
8. SPREAD SOME POSITIVE FEELINGS
Positive feelings are contagious. When you make somebody else feel good or help them in some way you will also feel good about yourself. This is a good way to create positivity. The person you helped feels that he or she will give you a hand later. But even if it doesn’t happen then it’s ok. Helping others should not make us feel that the person is expected to help us in return. When people start helping each other the feeling of positivity will grow and continue upwards.
9. DO WHAT YOUR HEART WANTS
One of the best things you can do for yourself is to follow your heart. When you follow your hear you will become the light in the darkness. You will illuminate the world.
